The famous payroll management software aims to become a platform centralizing all of a company’s HR matters. New modules will be deployed gradually during 2026.
Two ads for the price of one. This July 16, the French unicorn known for its payroll management software is unveiling two pieces of news: it is achieving profitability for the first time in its history and will enrich its solution with new modules to become a platform capable of centralizing most of a company’s HR needs.
A little over a decade after its creation in 2015, PayFit has achieved profitability. “It was one of our objectives. But I see profitability more as a crossing point rather than an end in itself. It is like a new starting line which will allow us to be ambitious in the months to come with new developments”, indicates Firmin Zocchetto, CEO and co-founder.
Among these developments, PayFit announces the integration of new HR modules into its solution. The company had already enriched its payroll software in recent years with functionalities for managing absences, annual interviews and expense reports. It is now taking a new step by adding, in the coming months, mutual and pension management, monitoring of computers and mobile phones as well as the possibility of connecting non-salaried workers, such as freelancers, to PayFit.
“This is the first time that we have evolved our value proposition to this extent. These new services will be deployed gradually over the course of 2026. PayFit will become a global platform where all matters related to a company employee can be managed,” assures the manager.
Target 150 million euros in ARR by the end of 2028
In addition to these new HR modules, PayFit will also evolve its payroll management solution by integrating a service dimension. “Until now, our clients used our software to manage their payroll themselves. From now on, they will be able to delegate part of this management to us by calling on one of our 200 in-house payroll experts.”
The company, which has 22,000 customers, intends to rely on this new model to reach 150 million euros in ARR by the end of 2028. An ambitious objective which should however not result in a massive wave of recruitment: “We have nearly 700 employees. The workforce should remain stable, because we are already capable of doing a lot with the current teams”, concludes Firmin Zocchetto.
