Enlaye raises $5 million for its AI dedicated to risk management in the construction sector

The start-up intends to take advantage of this financing to increase its workforce and accelerate its international commercial development.

There start-up Franco-American Enlaye, which is developing an artificial intelligence platform dedicated to the identification and management of risks in construction projects, announced on June 10 a fundraising of 5 million dollars. The operation is led by Glasswing Ventures and Link Ventures. It comes less than two years after a first round of funding of $1.7 million made in 2024.

Founded in 2023, Enlaye, which has offices in France and the United States, has developed a platform to enable builders, project owners, promoters and other construction players to “fight against contractual, commercial and financial risks”, explains Philippe Rival, CEO and co-founder. “The vast majority of data in the sector is not used. It is fragmented between various documents such as plans, contracts, field reports…”

Concretely, the start-up centralizes this often dispersed data to automate risk analysis from the call for tenders phase, assess the adequacy between a risk profile and expected profitability, then ensure risk monitoring once the project has started. The objective is to make these risks more understandable and to better anticipate them, in order to limit additional costs, delays and potential disputes.

Vinci among the customers

If the solution is aimed at all construction players, it is mainly builders who constitute Enlaye’s clientele. “We have clients in three countries: France, the United States and Canada. We mainly support large groups including Vinci,” specifies the manager. Note that in addition to its platform, available via SaaS subscription, the start-up can second a member of its internal team to a client to help them become familiar with the solution and to personalize it.

The fundraising should enable Enlaye to accelerate its commercial development, particularly internationally: “We will try to win over customers in markets other than those where we are already present,” announces Philippe Rival. To support this expansion, the start-up is planning several recruitments: it should go from a team of eight employees to around fifteen by the end of the year.
